The San Antonio Gunslingers are thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of their cutting-edge Gunslingers’ Practice Facility located at 9450 N.E. Loop 410 -- 4 miles from the Freeman Coliseum where all Gunslinger home games are played. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.  

James Steubing, President and Co-Owner of the San Antonio Gunslingers, expressed his excitement about the new facility, stating, “We are proud to have our own dedicated, year-round practice facility and business office that is just 4 miles from our arena. This marks a significant milestone for professional Indoor Football in San Antonio. Fans will now have the opportunity to watch the team practice, purchase tickets, attend special events and gear up with Gunslingers merchandise, all in one place.”  

Adding to the excitement, the Gunslingers have made significant strides this year, including the appointment of Head Coach and General Manager, Tom Menas.  A former player on the 1985 San Antonio Gunslingers (USFL) team, Coach Menas returns to San Antonio 38 years later to lead the Gunslingers into the 2024 season. 

Don Rackler, CEO and owner of the Gunslingers, expressed his enthusiasm about Coach Menas joining the organization, stating, “I am extremely proud to have a coach of Tom’s caliber on board. His wealth of experience and leadership will undoubtedly elevate our team to new heights. With Coach Menas at the helm, we are poised to build a highly competitive, championship winning team this year and beyond.”

The San Antonio Gunslingers are a proud member of the Indoor Football League (IFL) and are entering their fourth thrilling season of professional football in San Antonio.
